  Article:   TRANSLATING THE HOLY SCRIPTURES IN THE LIGHT OF CHRISTIAN MARTYRIA / TRADUIRE L’ÉCRITURE À LA LUMIÈRE DE LA „MARTYRIA” CHRÉTIENNE.

  Abstract:  ABSTRACT. The presentation or historical narrative content of Scripture is not only a historical corpus, strictly scientific history, but a material that exhibits the history of salvation, that is to say these events in the history of mankind who, through their teaching force challenge the reader in the process of continuity of memory and the hypostasis of incarnation of the abyss of speech. Conscious participation in the continuum of memory occurs when our existence is modulated according to the specific content of the authentic Christian martyria. The author believes that it is not enough to know the language of the source text to translate, one must come to the light breeze of the Spirit as the divine gift is one that banns any veil of speech. Scripture is alive and it is only the life of the Spirit that makes us share the understanding, as far as we can, of something of the abyss of the Godhead, and as a living text, it is the supreme argument of hospitality language that discovers the mystery only to the Pentecostal descent of the Holy Spirit. Thus the complex text of Holy Scripture asserts, in the case of the translation process, a conscious effort to identify the corresponding words that can preserve and transmit objective religious truth as transcendent source text offers us in order to lead us in the sphere of the knowledge of God.

RESUMÉE. Traduire l’Écriture à la lumière de la „martyria” chrétienne. L’exposé ou la narration historique du contenu de l’Ecriture n’est pas seulement un corpus historique, au sens strictement scientifique, d’histoire, mais un contenu qui expose l’histoire du salut, c’est-à-dire ces événements de l’histoire de l’humanité qui, par leur force pédagogique remettent le lecteur dans le processus de continuité de la mémoire et dans l’hypostase d’incarnation de l’abîme de la parole. La participation consciente à ce continuum de la mémoire se réalise quand notre existence se module d’après les contenus propres de la martyria chrétienne authentique. L’auteur croît fermement qu’il n’est pas assez de connaître la langue du texte-source pour le traduire, on doit arriver à la brise légère de l’Esprit car ce don divin est celui qui banni toute voile de la parole. L’Ecriture est vivante et c’est seulement la vie de l’Esprit qui nous fait partager la compréhension, autant qu’il nous est possible, quelque chose de l’abîme de la Divinité, et en tant que texte vivant, il est l’argument suprême d’hospitalité linguistique qui découvre son mystère uniquement dans la descente pentecôtiste du Saint Esprit. C’est ainsi que le texte complexe de la Sainte Ecriture revendique, dans le cas du processus de la traduction, un effort conscient d’identification des mots correspondants qui puissent conserver et transmettre objectivement la vérité religieuse transcendante que le texte-source propose pour nous conduire dans la sphère de la connaissance de Dieu.
